Recalls are jobs where attendance is required under any guarantee provided to the customer for previous work carried out, for which a new labour charge does not apply. Jobs marked as recalls also affect the engineers points.
Recall jobs can be created in two ways:
First method
- Open a previous job for the product
- Click the ‘recall’ button from the top-right of the job screen
- Tick the ‘recall’ button (not ticking this will simply create a new job without marking it as a recall)
- Enter the fault description
- Click ‘create repair’
Second method
- Search for the customer’s record
- Next to the desired product click the ‘create’ button
- Enter the requested information. See creating jobs for more information
- Click ‘create repair’
- Click ‘update’ from the top-right of the job screen
- Tick the ‘recall’ button
- Click ‘update’
